Academic Success

Ellie Smith, sophomore, smiles with her first-place ribbon on February 8th. Smith competed in the psychology portion of the Oakland City Academic Contest, gaining a perfect score of 50/50. Along with Ellie Smith,  Andrew Davis, junior, also received a second-place ribbon. The Jasper High School Academic team consisting of 17 members competed in a variety of contests and got the experience to explore the Oakland City University Campus. “I was really excited to go to Oakland City again, as I went last year. I love getting to see where Mrs. Mehringer went to school!”, said senior Tammy Lam.
